CALL FOR CREATIVE IDEAS ON CLIMATE FINANCE BY CLIMATE FINANCE LAB 2024

An open request for proposals for financial instruments that can spur investment to address some of the most challenging climate and sustainable development issues is held annually by the Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance. Selected concepts are guided and supported by high-level leaders from the public and business sectors throughout the course of a yearly cycle. These leaders provide financial, political, and expert capital to the instruments. The team of professionals at Climate Policy Initiative also provides thorough analysis, stress testing, and development for a few chosen ideas.

The Lab is searching for creative financing solutions that can attract capital to address some of the most challenging issues related to climate change, sustainable development, and investment prospects for a net-zero economy. Sustaining biodiversity, enhancing climate resilience, lowering emissions, producing jobs and other local economic advantages, and providing profits for private investors are all goals of the suggested sustainable finance structures.
