Deadline:  17, July ,2023

The Ashley Lashley Foundation Global HEY Climate Fund 2023 is now accepting applications. The Global HEY Climate Fund intends to support the initiatives of three chosen young climate activists. Each applicant must submit a project idea, and the top three (3) will each get funding for their respective projects.

The following theme areas are open to applications from passionate people:
Climate Change and Human Health: With this theme, applicants are free to suggest innovations, projects, or programs that emphasize the interdependence of climate change's negative effects and potential dangers for human health as well as their prevention and/or mitigation.
Climate Change, Water Conservation, and Food Security: This theme enables applicants to suggest technologies, projects, and/or initiatives that concentrate on water conservation (improving catchment capacity, water availability, or accessibility), as well as on enhancing the food security (or self-reliance) of a town, city, state, country, or region.
This theme, "Solid Waste Management and Climate Change," invites applicants to submit technologies, projects, and/or initiatives that highlight the connections between poor solid waste management, improper waste disposal practices, and the effects and threats of climate change on productivity and human well-being, as well as strategies for mitigating and/or resolving these issues.

This year, $2,500 will be awarded to each of the chosen initiatives. Following receipt of this grant, grantees will provide the Ashley Lashley Foundation's Evaluation Committee with updates and project results.
