Anybody, anywhere in the world, who has an early-stage concept or project that tackles serious global concerns is eligible to apply for grants from The Catalyst Fund, which range from $2,500 to $15,000.


Large Ideas
Do you have a large initiative or concept with the potential to bring about significant, long-lasting change?

The Catalyst Fund backs innovative concepts or initiatives that challenge the current quo and force us to reframe problems and their solutions. These large concepts have a great chance of affecting an entire neighborhood, city, or nation. They frequently make use of already-existing infrastructure, expand on public and private partnerships, and enhance what is already in place. Big ideas challenge the status quo and push the envelope.

Strong Vision
Will your ideas spur others to action and promote fresh thinking in the industry?

The Catalyst Fund assists people with bold change-related goals. Catalyst award recipients have a vision for how to get there and what has to be done. They seek out major, long-term effect. They are able to explain why they want to improve the world and how they intend to do it. Others are motivated by and given hope for a brighter future by their vision.

Conditions for Eligibility
The Catalyst Fund was established to collect concepts from all across the world. A seasoned social entrepreneur or a novice changemaker(startups) are both valid options. The Catalyst Fund will consider applications from individuals, groups of persons, non-profit organizations, and social enterprises. Each applicant, in order to be qualified:

be at least 18 years old
Complete and submit an application in English, together with any necessary application questions.

Accept the Catalyst Fund award program's terms and conditions in their entirety.
legal eligibility to receive grant funding.

Criteria
Innovative: Methods or tactics that improve upon current models – What are you elaborating on? What further remedies currently exist?

Community-based: What are the requirements of the communities you work for and for which you have a deep understanding? How do they participate in the procedure? How can they ensure that the solution remains effective over time?
High chance of impact This is relative, but we're seeking for solutions to issues that have disproportionately large effects on the population.

Sustainable: a knowledgeable group and a clever plan for enacting change — Who or what is responsible for the change? Why is this the ideal group? Why is this the best strategic move at this time?
