The AWIEF Growth Accelerator in Nigeria seeks to enhance the readiness of women entrepreneurs to access funding opportunities and scale-up their ventures, with high-level business development and growth strategy training, corporate advisory, mentorship and individualized support, networks, and access to finance. Higherlife Foundation Joshua Nkomo Scholarships for academically gifted students are available to Zimbabwean citizens under the age of 21 at the time of applying. The need to invest in grooming strong, results-oriented leaders comes out of the statistics: nearly 1 in 3 Africans are between the ages of 10 and 24, and approximately 60% of Africa’s total population is below the age of 35. After multiple highly successful cycles of the Global Citizen Scholarship Program, the Ban Ki-moon Centre for Global Citizens (BKMC) is proud to announce another call for applications for what will be the 7th round of our Global Citizen Scholarship with the objective to empower young African global citizens who are passionate about taking action for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
